I've just joined this forum, and it feels quite scary to face the mess I made and I don't have a clue how to get out.
I've been living on borrowed money for God knows how long. It took me a huge amount of courage to face the problem, but here I am hoping for the best.
I owe £14300 to 7 credit cards and £4470 to a loan company. I can't keeping taking the money from one place to cover another any more and need to find, urgently, a debt management company to deal with the creditors for me. I earn only £520 a month from pension credit, so I'm not sure if any company would help me as I have so little money to give to the creditors. I don't even know how do plan a budget. Can anyone give some advice, please.
Thank you!

Hello

Welcome to the site. I'm a newbie too, but the first thing the more experienced peeps will do is ask you to prepare a statement of affairs (SOA) http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html to cover all your outgoings and debts.
If you post it up I'm sure someone will be along shortly to offer advice

well hello and well done on facing up to things
now for a budget you should use this http://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html fill it in as best you can, use old bank statements if you can to try and build up as accurate picture as you can, although we all know the first SOA (statement of affairs) is always difficult
if once you have finished if you can post it up here we can try to advise where you should be able to save money etc
as for a debt management companie ONLY use one of the free debt charities which are CCCS, CAB, National debt line, Payplan or christiansd against poverty contact details are http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2077631 thereDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0
