    so you were recommending it as a way to save loads of money, but weren't recommending it as a long term meal plan.

    buy cheap fruit and veg from your supermarket close to closing time (but you may have to visit often!) or ask your market stall if they'll do you a deal at the end of the day. quite often ours will let me have a tray of mixed vegetables for a few £.
