My youngest came home from school the other day with this recipe for stir fry prawn noodles.
Heat some oil in a wok and gently fry 1 teaspoon of Thai 7 Spice, with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
Throw in some stir fry veg and cook for 1-2 mins. Add a handful of prawns and a packet of egg noodles and cook for a further 1-2 mins.
Add some chopped coriander and serve.
Easy peasy.

Hi wilroda,
Are you thinking of the noodles on their own or as a dish such as chow mein? If you could give us more details we may be able to help more.
In the meantime, these threads may help:

Sorry! i wasnt specific enough.
I love the simple taste of chinese take away noodles on their own and I would love to be able to make them at home. I was wondering what the ingredients are that makes them so lovely. When I try to replicate them it just isnt the same!!0 -

To make noodles to go with a chinese dish, I plunge them into boiling salted water for about five minutes until they are just about cooked (what Italians would call 'al dente'). Drain in a colander while heating a little sunflower oil in a wok. Once they are drained well, add the noodles to the sunflower oil and toss well to coat them evenly. Season with garlic granules, a lot of soy sauce, and a little sesame oil. Toss again to distribute the flavours well.
I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but my lot love them.

I do something similar to pink - cook the noodles leave to drain, put your oil in your wok but I add one or two eggs whole and break them all up with a wooden spoon. Add the noodles quickly and stir fry together on a high heat. The egg will go scrambled looking - think more foo yung;). Add loads of soy sauce stir together then serve - whole thing should take no more than a few minutes.

It's definitely soy sauce and sesame oil that flavour the noodles so nicely. Yummy!!0
