Solid wax furniture polish?

I'm looking for some for my gran - doesn't need to be beeswax or anything fancy, the good old fashioned lavender stuff would be fine.
I've seen it on line, but wondered if anywhere on the high street still sells it? Struck out at Wilkinsons which seem the obvious first port of call. Any other ideas? (Grandma says she's tried the supermarkets with no luck.)

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Perhaps a furniture shop. I got mine at a farmers market from the honey stall (obviously its beeswax)0

I think I got mine in Tesco, but it was a while ago. How about Home Bargains?0

There isn't one round my way. Tried the poundshops and local markets with no joy. ( I don't mind buying on line if I have to, it's just that for smaller items, by the time you've added on postage the price has doubled.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

You can get beeswax polish from John Lewis, and I think you can get it at some branches of Waitrose. IIRC it's about £6 though.0

I got some in Robert Dyers yesterday, they did various types and I needed it for some antique furniture, it was about £9 though! I had already searched in the budget shops, but no luck. They had uncoloured and coloured.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

Hi Elsien:hello:
Now you have had some input from the OSers, I've moved your thread to see if you can get more responses
Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
thanks:)
