Tesco loan approval question

Just a quickie

When you apply for a loan through tesco finance, you receive a message stating if the loan is approved in principal you will receive a pack through the post within 3 business days. However Ive noticed searching through the forum that Tesco actually rang some customers promptly after the application to tell them they had been approved?

Just wondering if anyone on here didnt get a call but recieved docs? And if declined do they they bother to tell you!?

If you fail you get the generic unsuccessful letter.

If you are successfull ive heard of them phoning you up.

I was successful and didn't get a phone call, just the docs.

When i returned the docs I was then called as they wanted to check about some other finance I had listed from credit reference agencies.

I took, no news to be good news but I haven't ever had a problem getting loans and cards.
