I just noticed that a DEFAULT letter from these scumbags they have spelt my second name wrong. Can I use this to my advantage?

I doubt it, its only going to be a typeo, the main place it would matter would be like something on a CCA, however a CCA is something you write anyway.
I don't think you will get anywhere with this plan, sorry. Have you checked your CCA (if it is a credit account) - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2305463Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
