A £120 saving might not be moneysaving to you :rotfl:
But for me half price tickets and a saving of £120 means I can now afford to go! I could not have gone at £240 for two tickets..0 -
so glad to see this posting and know that a bunch of MSExperts cottoned onto the fact that all those shonky and utlimately stupid Ebay scammers were left stuffed at having purchased a hoard of Madonna tickets on the expectation of selling them for 10-times their face value.
When Madonna went from just 2 concerts to 8 in the end and at up to £160 per ticket, it was always obvious that all fans would be able to get tickets even if at the cheap end of the scale.
Once I realised this and saw the tons of tickets up for sale on Ebay, I simply checked out all the auctions with 'NO RESERVE' and monitored them.... made a few attempts at around £130 for 2 tickets in relatively good positions in the stands but I really hit the jackpot on the one I wanted.
2 x tickets in section C4 (only A and B were better) for a mere £118 and for OPENING NIGHT to boot! The auction ended at about 7:30pm last Friday with the concert having taken place on Tuesday and I received the tickets fine on Monday.
With a face value of £360 for the pair, I saved over £240!
Keep this in mind whenever you're looking to buy concert tickets..... there are often times when you can pick them up for half price from desperate Ebayers who have lost out. Of course there are other times when you do have to pay over the odds and over face value for the really popular gigs.0 -
Anyone wanting to see Madonna could have had ticket to see her in Cardiff for next to nothing or even free - they could not even give them away.
The local radio stations were running loads of competitions to win pairs of tickets and there seemed to be very little interest in them even when they were free!!!
Has anyone seen her this time round, and if so - is she lip-syncing on this tour like she did last time round? £360 for sing-along-a-madonna-records - no thanks.Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!0 -

...so is she worth the money???????? do tell

She was hopeless in Cardiff,
a triumph of style over content,ie video stuff-- brilliant- musically and her performace soulless and mechanical,
played very little of her hits,
those that she did she butchered by doing strange arrangements like ray of light as heavy metal,
got bored and left early
waste of money,
£25 brochures and £50 t-shirts !!!!!
She is probably surrounded by people who tell her, that she is so clever
no one is prepared to tell her it was crap,

I saw her in Cardiff too. I didn't have to pay for my £150 ticket, luckily.
I wouldn't say she was hopeless. She danced well, looked fantastic and sang - all at the same time. At 47! It was soulless though.
I would have liked to hear more of her hits rather than plugging the new album which I'm not familiar with.
I didn't like the crucifix/crown of thorns/world saviour bits either.de do-do-do, de dar-dar-dar
