    1. Have at least 1 no spend day (i can't actually remember the last time I had one of these!)
    2. Do a proper big budget again, need to re-evaluate EVERYTHING!
    3. No takeaways
    4. Go to gym at least 2 times!
    5. Stick to diet
    6. send old mobile off to mobile2cash

i think thats enough to be getting on with! good luck everyone!

    1) Keep life simple (trying but the problem with life is that other people are in it!)
    2) Sell one item on ebay (two currently selling for £30 with 12 hours to go)
    3) Totally gut front room and catalogue and sort all kids hair stuff to start web site properly (gutted front room but need to catalogue)
    4) Go and sign up for body massage course (yip, did do and start in September)
    5) Lost 1lb of 7lbs I want to lose! (1lb gone)

    New goals
    1) Place one item on ebay
    2) Gut daughters room whilst she's away
    3) Gut our bedroom and sort out all the crap that creeps in there!
    4) Clean bathroom to within an inch of it's life!
    5) Do some more cataloging of bobble stock
    6) Lose 1lb of 6lbs I want to lose
    7) Have energy to do all the above

I'm going to print these out to make sure they're are acheived this week.

Have a fun week everyone xx
    January budget
    Nothing left!
  • goals for last week were:

Organise day out using tesco vouchers - yup. We're off to The Deep in Hull this week.

4 alchohol free days - managed 3 (pleased by this as last week has been stressful)

Continue decorating staircase - oops, abrupt halt :o

No further cash withdrawals - managed this one but have used cc due to disastrous week with computer and internet.

I make that 1.5 out of 4 - must do better!

    goals for this week;

    1. Only use internet after 6pm due to being temporarily on payg dial up (failed that one already :rotfl: ) but once I've caught up after being offline for 5 days, i'll try to keep to it.

    2. Take pack up for day out so as not to spend in cafe/shops.

    3. Try and get back on track after rubbishy week, where all my best efforts at money saving have turned to s**t.

    4. Be kinder to self - not really money saving - but am beating myself up big style over no 3 above

    Good Luck everyone

Well it wasn't actually that bad! These are my goals for this week:
    1. Stick to budget, have £10 in my purse and I am not going to draw anymore money out until Friday (only planned outting is to the cinema, reduced rate of £4).
    2. Go running twice.
    3. Bring lunch 4/5 days (having free work lunch on the other day).
    4. Sort out claiming tax back from last year's pension AVCs.

Ooh I want to do this. My goals will be:

    1) Make hubbie packed lunch everyday so he doesn't have an excuse to sneak off to the canteen.

    2) Sort, photograph, weigh etc box full of ebay stuff ready for the next 5p listing day.

    3) Make some HM meals for little sis who's moving out of parents and into her first flat at the weekend.

    4) Amuse kids with baking, painting, treasure hunt etc as really cannot afford to take them out (as if there's anyway to take them round here anyway! )

    5) Pay inland revenue £100 to hopefully keep them quiet for another month.

    6) Don't forget to water corn plants as the sunflowers have died and now resemble 3 ft high brown sticks! :o

Hope this is the right sort of things, never done this before!

Great thread! I'm going to start small, with just one goal. I'm going to try to get my head around the bizarre questions on the tesco application form to see if they want me when I'm not at my other job!
