Toy testers wanted!

Posted March 9th, 2010 by Hatty Fawcett
Have you ever wanted to get all the latest toys, games and clothes for your family for free? Now you can as Woolies are on the hunt for official product testers!
All you have to do is answer 5 simple questions about each product and take a photo of you or your family using it.
That’s it. You get to keep the products and we get honest reviews from real families. It’s win-win!
If you think you’d make a perfect product tester, drop us an email with your name, location and children’s ages to WoolworthsUK@hotmail.co.uk. Not sure about the hotmail address? Let me know what you all think and I will delete if necessary

Its a bit suspcious that the contact e-mail address is a hotmail one. Shop Direct who own Woolsworths now is a huge company and own a lot of well known brands so surely they would not be using Hotmail?

I agree although it has this as the bottom of the website which looks legit?

It does seem quite a big regularly updated complex website just to harvest a few e-mail addresses so maybe it is for real.

If you click on the Woolworths Blog link at the bottom left of the official http://www.woolworths.co.uk site it does take you back to that Woolies HQ page so maybe it's okay.

    i wouldn't worry :)

i'm pretty sure it is legit.

there's a link to that blog from glue's website:

always good to be wary though, but this looks okay to me.

(i agree, it seems rather unprofessional to use a hotmail address though)
  • I have just sent an email to woolworths asking if its from thier company ...will let you know the answer if i get one
  • I emailed woolworths and got this..
