Need some help and answers

Hi, myself and my husband are in some debt about £24,000 we originally started off on the right track and took out a loan before our 1st son arrived to pay off all our cards and we did well and paid off £10,000 in 2 years (we were both working)

Then before we knew it we were up to our eyes and our credit cards had taken over we did take out another loan (the one we have) to clear cards overdraft etc but now here we are stuck in a rut.

I've been thinking today about bankruptcy i'm not sure this is the right option though. it would only be me I think going through with it as all the cards are in my name and the loan is in my hubbys (but we have that under control) I know how life changing it will be no normal bank accounts and the other thing were trying to sell our car at the mo for a bigger one as we have 1 toddler and 1 baby now our peugeour 206 isnt big enough, were selling it for £2600 and not looking to add too much to it to get the car we want the new car will be in my husbands name would they still take this? and also so they come into your home and see what they can have of value?

My other question is i'm looking at going back to college/uni within a year or so to do a midwifery degree and i can apply for a bursery will being BR affect getting this.

Thank you for your time, i'm really worried as to what to do next.

    Hi

I'll bump you up a bit. not sure about the bursery question but hopefully someone will be able to help.

Just checking have you spoken to the various debt charities and get some advice, maybe make an appointment to see you local CAB office and take your figures with you. I found them a great help.
