I sold my car a few days before my BR date to pay the rent I owed and the OR took every penny of it away from me. She just didn't care that it was for rent as it was considered an asset.0

Surely if you have to continue paying rent in advance you will have to save what you should pay in rent for the next 6 months advance.0

What if the tenancy doesn't get renewed...nothing to say it will. You are then in the same situation where you need to pay 6 months up front. I know if I was in the same situation as the op I would need to save the rent incase that occured. Especially with 2 under 5's to concider.0
