He was saying this morning he's not sure whether to phone the police or not - I think he probably should report it in case it's a regular occurrence round there - he's not too bothered about the phone as it was PAYG and didn't work half the time anyway.
He should definitely report it!
There's a high chance that it's on CCTV or it's a recurring problem.
How would he feel if it happens to some-one else next week and they are seriously beaten up and it could have been prevented by his report?

You're right, I'll have a chat with him later - I think he'll probably come to that conclusion himself once the shock wears off.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Meal plan now for the week-plan is to use up everthing in the freezer before we go away so we can defrost it...
Tues: Big Breakfast
Wed: Cottage pie with sweet potato mash
Thur: Fish fingers, potato waffles and beans
Fri: Fish in parsley sauce with mash and peas
Sat: Green thai curry (chicken) -kids wont eat this so will make them hamburgers
Sunday: Roast Dinner (most likely chicken) with fruit strudel for afters
I am making carrot soup today and broccoli/stilton soup as well and they need to be used up in the fridge. I have a load of frozen things I have made in the freezer as well (curries, chillis etc) but they can be used next week and also put into the little freezer in the utility.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Seems to be a day for people getting battered. Hope Clare and Mr Squizz are ok.
I am waiting for the postie again - surely one of the chargers will arrive today.
Need to escape at some point to submit Housing Benefit form and collect prescription.
I could do with the world stopping for 24 hours so that I can catch up!
Have good days.0 -
Morning Bunny  R was most unimpressed when I said he still had to go to school, cold or not!
N still has the energy to be a pain in the bum, even with croup! :rotfl:
Hope Mr Squizz is okay, how horrible for him.
I am trying to find the motivation to build my coldframe. Hate doing that kind of thing, but I need to get some plants outside.

awwww poor mr squizz.... hope he's okay, glad he's not too badly hurt. I think hurts men's pride when these things happen. Poor fella... i bet he was glad to get home for them snuggles....
Claire - you take care of yourself babes... take it easy today.
Same to poorlies in the snags household.....
Helloooooo to everyone else!
I am doing fine, just plodding along and trying not to let myself get to fever pitch for GM coming home like i did last time. Things are so different this time, we're going days between texts and i am just not letting myself get over excited just to crash n burn. In reality i just want him home so we can see whether we're moving forward together or not... im not sure which way it's gonna go....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
i so very bored at work today

Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

I hope it all works out with GM, Maz. Think you are doing the right thing keeping cool about it and seeing what happens but I know you like him, so I hope things are good when he returns.

I mustn't think about the salary I'll be losing though (just over £100 a month after tax) - I'm also losing my WTC in April (£108 a month) and my tax goes up because of collecting AQA tax each month (by £80) so I'll have a huge £300 hole in my budget that I will need to fill with lots of AQA from the beginning of April to keep on an even keel.
Oh well, just keep swimming........
I've got a physio appointment next week. While I've been 'away' I've had a medical after the car accident last December. I was in a lot of pain in my back and cried through part of the examination
but the doctor has said I should have 12 physio sessions and then go back to him. If I'm no better (hopefully I will be!) he will refer me to a pain specialist.
How's the claim coming BB? And welcome back
(think I kept missing you before) I'm still having physio, apparently my neck is in permanent spasm and it needs to be manipulated out of it
Hurts a lot. I have my medical on Friday. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
