Help!!!

Me and Hubby went br last wednesday, in his br forms we included his vodafone contract which was in arrears. Anyway we have now received a bill dated 18th march, day after we went br for the full amount of the contract as they have cancelled it - will this still be included or are we starting our br in debt again as we cannot afford to pay this amount its for over £500!!!:(

.
I have told hubby to phone or this morning as we need to speak to him re his npower account which we are paying an amount in our monthly payments to cover decembers bill which at the time we couldnt afford to pay, we want to see whether this can be included in br too so we can lower our monthly payments.

Any help or advice appreciated

The contract was taken out prior to BR, so it's a proveable debt and will be included in the BR estate.

And the NPower can be included too. Although its possible that they will force a change over to prepay meters so you now pay them what you use that way. Ensure that you have correct meter readings so that they can bill you up to the correct date.
  • Thanks for that, i was worrying about the vodafone bill as it was soo much. The npower i can live with as its only until august then reverts back to normal payments.
