I just got a new ice cream maker and think its fab 
but I only got a few recipes with it and they are a bit rubbish! the quantities seem to be a bit out
does anyone know any good recipes? would be grateful for any egg based and non egg based ones

When the solar eclipse was a couple of years ago. I was up in the welsh mountains in a little pub, hidden away in the middle of nowhere. The owner served us all some homemade ice cream that she had made in an ice-cream maker.
I have never had the chance to make it myself yet (due to the lack of ice-cream maker) but it was lovely and I highly recommend it. The recepie she gave me was:
3/4 pint cold coffee (per person)
1 packet hot chocolate mixture powder
1 Cadbury's flake (chopped)
1/2 pt double cream.
Looking at it now, it doesn't seem complete.....:o or is it????
