Hello,
I'm currently on a low DMP.
I am wondering... can anyone at anytime see you credit file/financial status? I am about to take a new job for better pay and I don't want my employer thinking I'm bad with 'money'. He has no reason to check it's just I'm a little paranoid and would feel a little embrassed...
Thanks,:D

Hi.
Is your prospective employer a bank or financial institution?
If so then usually credit checks are done.
I don't think other employers can see the entirity of your credit details if they run a check. I think its only ID details they can see but i'm not sure and hopefully someone will come along who knows.(c) Broke in Yorkshire. ( there are worse places )

Nope - either. Just a regular job but I'm quite shy about my 8,000 debt and don't want anyone to know.Just another dumbass with money...

Hi. Doubt it. When I started my job I had way more debt than you (still do!) and as far as I know no-one credit checked me. Nothing on my file to say a search had been done and my role involved handling money. Besides usually the question is "have you ever been made bankrupt?" If you haven't been asked any financial questions and not been informed of the possible implications of a tarnished credit file by your employer then I doubt it matters.verystupidwithmoney wrote: »Nope - either. Also I don't think just anyone can have access to the details of your credit file.Wait for the experts though. They'll be along soon.0 -

unless you sign a concent form for the company to credit check you then they cannot do so, as they require permission.0
