Land registry

Hi all...

Shortly after bankruptcy, I received a B10 Notice of Registration of a Bankruptcy notice from the Land Registry.

I'm assuming the details are now added to the property register for my house and wondered how long exactly they would stay there and are these details available for all to see?

Thanks in advance as always

hi there B10 is standard procedure letter from land registry.

I think it is removed when BI is resolved.

The restriction will remain for a maximum of 3 years or until you buy the BI. Anyone who pays the £2 to search against your address on the Land Registry can see this (but who would?)

I received the same notice. About a week later I then received a B11 notice. I believe that the B10 is notifying that there is a BR affecting your house and that the B11 is the OR registering their interest in the house which prevents you from selling the property.

I am not 100% sure on this but I think that's what they mean.

As others have said, all standard procedure.
