Trying to be positive

Hi I posted for the first time on here the other night. *waves* I've been reading that apparently if you force yourself to look at the positive side of things you can re-programme your brain to think positively so here goes:
Positive things about my debts:
- Have been able to convince Inland Rev that we really don't have the money they want and they've agreed to settle for £100 a month until a review next year.
- Hubby finally got some owed expenses from work so we can pay off all but £500 of the credit card
- Someone is interested in buying my wedding dress so can hopefully put back some of the kids savings that we were forced to borrow last month
- We got our credit file from Experian and it wasn't as bad as we'd been worried it would be.
OK well doesn't feel great but has got to be better than listing all the bad things right? Your turn then peeps...

:hello: There you go then, loads of progress already. Keep at it (that can be the tricky bit, but if you keep posting here it definitely helps). Tomorrow there will be a thread about your goals for the coming week, I recommend you have a look and set yourself some achievable targets. Then next weekend you'll have some more things to reflect upon. I also post every day in the 'what have you spent today' thread, it helps to curb my impulse spends!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Thanks newleaf, unfortunately it always seems easier to list the bad stuff doesn't it, not least because there seems to be so much more of it!
No one else gonna join in being positive?
