Has anyone else had any experience with this site? The last thing I want to do is join, pay for credits and find its unreliable!
send one to the number your planning to send most of the txts to, and then ask them if they received it in another way.
  • Might i suggest that both of you use http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/
if you want to make real call savings.

But you said you use 18866 did you not. I assume you meant for calls as you cant use it to send texts. So i was merely pointing out that their are now cheaper suppliers of calls.

    DONT USE THAT SMS.AC SITE.

It is possibly the biggest scam in the world.. They say you get free texts but then send you premium rate texts that is a pain in the !!!!!! to opt out of.. I ended up spending £6.50 on premium rate texts for sending about 4 texts to NZ. It would have been cheaper to send the texts via my provider.

    pff.

I used them for around 2 years with no problems but then they suddenly started to charge me. :rotfl:

Basically be very alarmed once you get "subscription" texts to your mobile! They costs 20p a pop!!

Luckily I was able to get a refund - took me 2 month of endless emails and phone calls though

one thing you can do(which i am doing myself), is get some uk simcards, activate them, and send them to ur relatives/friends in mauritius/india.
The simcards can be obtained for free(online), and no need to top up as well. They just need to put them in a spare phone, and you can text to that number.
The simcards will be on roaming, and you only pay for local texts (or off from your monthly text allowance, if you have a contract).:D
I knw u want something online, but this is one cheap option you can use for the time being. Cheers:beer:
