New Bankruptcy date!!!

Hi everyone,
Just want to update... Just had a phonecall from court regarding the indiustrial action on Wednesday (the day me and OH were due to be BR) the lovely lady has squeezed us in for March 25th now, only a day later! I am so so relieved cos it means we get it all over done with much quicker AND we escape the ridiculous £90 court fee increase!!!! Very nervous about it all and just hope everything goes ok :)
Thankyou to everyone on here for all your help and support, we,ll let you know how it goes.

Don`t worry you will be fine, the whole court process is quite dignified.

I'm also due for the 24th. Haven't heard anything from the court about it being changed though. I can't decide whether no news is good news, or whether I'm just going to be frustrated if I turn up and can't be seen that day. I really just want it all done and sorted - not more faffing around. :(

    Hi Confuzzled,
Have you tried ringing the court to find out one way or the other? Really hope yor appointment happens for you.....keep us updated and GOOD LUCK!
  • Well it all went fine. Not a mention of industrial action. As of 10.22 today I am officially bankrupt.

Can't say the whole experience was great - but the staff were pleasant enough (if a little cool and aloof) and going into a courtroom was downright scary (apparently they usually do that part informally in a side room but as the judge was already in the courtroom it was easier for him to stay put!).

Just need to wait for the call from the OR now. But I do feel as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
