I think you missed a C out of your title'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

It's complicated.
But at least I can spell Keynesian......“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
-- President John F. Kennedy”0 -
I posted this a while ago and got no response. Clearly neglected to make it about Bulls and Bears
Great video though. 'So sorry my friend if this sounds like invective, prepare to be schooled in my Austrian perspective' cracks me up every time“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

Sorry I missed.
There is a big reasurgance in Austrian Economics at the moment despite unversities failing to teach it. You have ecomomic stars such as Ron Paul and Peter Schiff bringing it to the main stream now at least.
With the election coming we have a good chance of getting an Austrian in either George Osborne or Vince Cable.
Any as Hamish says its complicated below is the making of the video explaining some of the issues.

It's an interesting debate, to be sure. When the government came out with all the bail outs and borrowing as a stimulus their justification was that it was all sound Keynesian economics (leaving aside that they didn't save in the boom years as I believe Keynes advocated), so it must be ok.
I suppose we'll just have to see a few years down the lines just how much malinvestment there has been!
I have to say watching that video and reading about the Austrian School's arguments did make me reassess things.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
Fight of the Century:
Keynes vs. Hayek Round Two
Part 2 of the Keynes bashing rap is out:
This is the British economist (Keynes) who all the Economic so-called masterminds who got us into this mess quote including the cringe worthy Edd Balls. Hayek was the economist who ripped apart Keynes flawed arguments but failed to attack Keynes final works, regretting it on his death bed as Keynesian economics came mainstream.

Cheers Brit. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first one, but still good nevertheless. I wish economics was taught like that when I studied it.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
