12mp Fujifilm camera with bag and SD card for £59.97

Options
I was looking at this camera on Tesco direct and considering buying it as you get the case and SD card for half price too. (it was originally showing as £20 so you'd pay 10). Saw the thread on HUKD that had £10 off £50 code, and camera bag now showing as £10 but still takes the £10 off for that too so you end up geting it free. Just got my camera yesterday and really pleased with it. They also have it in black, pink and blue.

thanks to teabag36 for listing the £10 off code.

My previous camera also used AA batteries so I'm not sure how much better the other ones are. My old one did run down pretty quick so I bought decent rechargeables and they were fine. On this camera it has a bit on the menu where you select if you are using alkialine AA batteries or rechargeables.

I prefer Li-ion batteries purely because they are more portable and last longer, but if you are happy with AA then it is a great camera for the price. :)

Thanks Tara - I think you're right about the Li-ion batteries lasting a lot longer as the camera I had years ago had one of those and I dont think I even had to change it once. I'd definetley get one with Li-ion batteries if I was spending a lot.

I prefer cameras which don't recharge because that way if your battery fails when you are out or away you can easily buy replacements (or have spares with you) rather than having to wait to get home to recharge and missing out on photos you wanted to take.

I have ordered one of these for store pick-up but am a bit concerned as to the supposed full price. I have searched high and low on the web, including the Fuji sites and there is no mention of this model. There is a AX205W but is got a 5 time optical zoom vice 4. Wondering if this is a special one-off made just for tesco and whether or not its really worth the price stated. Comments.

Fair point. My OH always carries a spare Li-ion battery for his camera (bought cheaply on eBay) just in case.

    Thx great find. Just ordered

If you go through Quidco you get a further 3% off. Not a big saving but as they say in Tescos - every little helps.

tesco always tracks at the full original price not the price you paid after discounts, so a few extras pennies for you there.
