Moving to Bank of England Rate -- Help required
Lotus20
Would really appreciate help on following -- my 5 year 4.99% fixed rate ends in May and i have dug out my mortgage info tonight in preparation for an appointment to sign up for a new fixed rate HOWEVER the info states that "Starting on and including the first day immediately after the expiry of the fixed rate period the premium rate, a variable rate, will be 0.75% above the Bank of England rate and will end on expiry of the mortgage term" -- before i celebrate can anyone confirm that this really means i'll go onto a rate of Bank of England + 0.75% and that my lender cannot wriggle out of it !!!!!!!!!

They should honour it.
Who is the lender?
Is it portable?
(Remember to overpay/save the difference in old and new payments ... it could come in handy if BofE rate rockets upwards).
EDIT: Based on your answer below, your deal is as written down. Good news
