For anyone following / reading this thread, beware, only use a DMP agent for one reason, to pay your creditors, nothing more.I was also recommended to them by the CAB also had no problems so far
Time, after time, after time, we have witnessed on this board members who have been miss lead by DMP agents NOT informing the defendant of their legal rights.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

What does ''Set aside mean? and how do i go about this?
Also I got my credit report last week from experian and they have put down that I have ''GONE AWAY'' which means that I have moved address and not notified them. Also they is no mention of a CCJ on the report. I am going to write to them and advise that they update there records and to let experian knowI suspect the CCJ has been awarded already, you'll have to make a "set aside" application on the grounds the amount they claim is in dispute.
You're a long, long, way if ever from them attending
It will be once a CCJ is awarded.
You're to far down the line disputing the CCA once the claim has been "admitted"0 -
This is about the set aside process http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=12_how_to_set_aside_a_judgment_in_the_county_court

I suggest at this stage you wait until you know the outcome from your PPI claim, only then will you know what the exact figure should be.What does ''Set aside mean? and how do i go about this?
It can take several months for a CCJ to filter through to the CRAsAlso they is no mention of a CCJ on the report.Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.

I did try to make a claim in January 2009 for the PPI to be paid when I was made redundant from my job but because my former employer lied on the claim form and said I left voluntary they wont pay out until I have won the case at the tribunal.
so would you suggest that I hold fire until the tribunal case is done and dusted. then do the set aside judgement? In the meantime do I still pay payplan?I suggest at this stage you wait until you know the outcome from your PPI claim, only then will you know what the exact figure should be.

Hiya 10past6
Just thought i would ask for your advise again regarding my previous posts.
I lost the unfair dismissal claim at the employment tribunal. My solicitors then advised me to make a redundancy claim through the courts.
I got a call today from my solicitors saying that my former employer has agreed to settle out of court regarding the redundancy claim. Its not much money but its better than nothing. Does this now mean i can use this to make a claim against the PPI ?
Many ThanksYes, yes, yes, in that order0 -
Hiya 10past6
just wanted some further advice and to give an update
The employment tribunal awarded me £500 which I wasn't very happy with after much negotiations my former employer agreed to settle out of court based on this amount. Both sides had to sign a document stating that we would not disclose the details of the tribunal to any third parties etc.. just close friends and family. Am I right in thinking that I cannot make a claim on the PPI now? or is this classed as a third party? making me in breach of the agreement
thanks
