the thing is have you phoned one of the debt charities for some advise? i really would phone one of them to at least get a second opinion (link in Numpty's post)

also could you possible post up a your real SOA that we could give suggestions on

basically all i am going on is that you 'could' make enough changes to your life style that you could cut your £670 shortfall right down and bring you back into a surplus.

YES it will be hard work
YES it will be a shock to the system
YES it might take a while to become debt free
BUT it is possible and would leave less damage to you long term credit file (am thinking mobile phones insurance etc NOT evil credit cards as they are generally what got all of us on to these forums in the first place) and teach you some invaluble lessons (and hopefully teach your kids them aswell) on how and why you must live within your means
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)
