Had a really good DFW week!

Hi everyone, first week of living on my new budget and thought I'd let you know how it's going.

OK bad points - Mobile bill was £30 over budget :o but have remember I had £48 in paypal account so that will pay for that one!
Good points - Was my greaduation yesterday and parents took me out for lunch, was stuffed so didn't end up eating in the evening, resulting in really cheap food day.:j
Lady at station gave me her train ticket, which work pay for so bonus £7.10:T
Still have £40 of cash spends/food budget left, to last till monday. Going to a wedding later so could go wrong there, but hopefully there will be some free wine and I won't have to spend!
Petrol budget has done really well, adn doubt I'll have to put the whole £25 in on Monday to fill up.
Needed shoes for wedding today so went to get some old ones reheeled for ^6.95, but the woman was REALLY rude. Complained to head office and when I went to pick them up today sh apologised and didn't charge me!
Market was open today so brought some bits, got 3 boxes of spiderman cake mix for £1 so have activities for my son for next few weeks already in cupboard at 33p each! (he loves cooking with these).

So all in all a pretty good week, and I'm finishing it feeling really motivated. So keen to get rid of debt (not big I know but until know I was only making it bigger) then if I can carry on living on this budget I can start saving for a deposit for my own place one day!!

How has everyone else done this week?

Cheers guys I feel really positive and in control, and I think if I wasn't posting on here I wouldn't have the same motivation to keep track of everything, so thank you DFW board!
