endowment claim help

Hi,

I was advised to take out an endowment mortgage ini 1995 which I believe i was mis-sold. However the mortgage was sold by an estate agent which have since gone out of business. The mortgage is with Winterthur Life and the estate agent were representatives of Winterthur Life only.

So, what do I do now?

I've been on the FCSC website but they require an FSA number for cornerstone which I do not have.

Can I claim from WL or am I at a dead end?

Claim from Winterthur they should be responsible for the advice of their agents and representatives. Do not wait, Winterthur will time bar if possible

You are in the same boat as I was, Cornerstone got me my endowment too.

As Defender says, go straight to Winterthur, but be prepared that it may take around 6 months from beginning to payout (at least it did with me).
