not sure where to put this thread but cannot really see anywhere for it to go to be honest.
Anyway, since this could boost my income in some way i thought it righ to be here.
Ok, I have come across a brand new 20p piece and there is no date on the back.
here is a picture of ehat the coin looks like its exactly the same as this.

now are these worth anything, a while back there was a frenzy for them but are they still collectable and whats the value?

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

There are loads for sale on ebay. They seem to be worth a lot more than 20p! Good luck.

I was told the Royal Mint give £50 for them but cant find an up to date article on this, Ive seen them on ebay, but is it worth hanging on to them incase they are worth more or just sell it for around 50 quid on ebay??All the big powers they've silenced me. Have you seen the ones entitled "rare 20p twenty pence coin no date on tail side"
There's a date on the head side, making them normal twenty pence coins. :eek:0 -
My dad sold one for £55 three weeks ago, so seems they do still sell. Apparently it's best to try and hold it in front of a mirror when you take a pic if possible0

I'm just curious. What's the idea behind taking a picture of it in front of a mirror? Would it help them distinguish if the coin is fake or not? Thanks.0

so you can both sides of the coin in one photo shotSave saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives.:j0

It's the London Mint that are offering £50 for them.
Remember with ebay you have to pay 10% final value fee plus 3.4% +20p paypal fee and if your starting price is over 99p you will pay a fee for that too. If they're going for around the £50 - £55 mark you're better off selling it to the London Mint:j30/7/10:j

Ive got one. I found it when all the fuss was made at the start. I decided to keep it & see if in years to come I could get more for it.
