Query on fixing heel

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place for this
I found my fave high-heeled shoobs the other day and tho I can fix the scuffing on the toe with shoe wax, have noticed that they have this scuff on the back of the heel - won't let me post pic.... so .....it's as if the brown has been gouged away and the white plasticky bit of the heel is showing. Really don't want to have to put these out as I love them!!!
Does anyone know how to fix this? Wasnt even sure if they could go to cobblers as a last resort (well we only have a timpsons here)
Many thanks in advance!!!!

Hi catchooky.
It depends on how bad the scuff is but I have used permanent marker on heels to cover small scuffs. If they're shiny you could use nail polish.

If they're not leather-covered heels you could, as suggested, use either a permanent marker or nail-polish or even some shoe-dye to cover the scratch. If that doesn't work as a last resort you could pop them into Timpson's. The last time I was in my local branch they had a heel-replacement service but I don't know what that would cost but if they're good shoes and your favourites it might be worth the expense0
