New to message board so apologise for any unintended stupidity.
I need an home improvement grant desparately. I have a business (sole trader) which is run from a shop property which I own and has my living accomadation at the back of the shop and over it. I also live (not married and same sex) with a person on disability benefit. I need to know if if I can claim any improvement grants through having the business/ because it's my home or because an occupant is on disability benefit. Does anyone know what is available or who to contact to find out - without being passed from pillar to post and extension no to extension no.
Many thanks

The above link may help but it all depends on what improvements you need and what rules your local authority sets :-/
The above link also gives info on grants that can be obtained when you have a disabled occupant also.
Hope that helps
