I couldn't include everything, I didn't quote the stuff about political parties because I wasn't trying to make a Tories v Labour point...neither is the article
If you read the article, it doesn't put Labour in a good light either.
Is it me or is there something wrong with those statements
'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
Not really, I was just saying that despite the negative quote you cherry picked about David Cameron, the article is also negative about Labour. I don't know what point you were trying to make by posting that - it's not like I tried to suggest in my original post that it was all Labour's fault and the Tories were the perfect solution.
The point of the article is that there is no easy solution.0 -
I think it is Stevie.
I am tired of the 'but Labour would do this', 'Tories do that' narrative.
We need them to stop their silly bickering and wake up to the fact that they serve us and the nation, not their own petty interests.0 -

You don't do irony do you

Well you seem to love to pick up on people being pro-Tory and anti-Labour, so it's difficult to know when your posts are supposed to be 'irony'. Why don't you comment on the article - don't you think it's interesting? That's what everyone else is doing!0

I meant your post not mine, unintentional I think

Have you noticed that in any company you might work in (and I've worked in a fair few), there are those who just get on with performing their role for the company, and those who seem to spend more time on working the company system to enhance their own personal standing and benefit.
I suspect the same is true in Politics, and that they might be rather more adept at the latter.
Your modern day career politician might be spending more energy on looking the part, rather than co-operating to come up with genuine beneficial change to the country.0 -

.
Do you mean those who store all their work emails up and then send them at 11 oclock at night or Saturday morning, I have known one or two, you know who you are
