If your income increases and you have an IPA – who is it best to tell

The OR or Moonbeever?

(I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who has an IPA)

If moonbeever are dealing with your IPA then I'd contact them.

script, while we have no problem answering hypothetical questions, to educate other's on BR, can you please answer if you are faceing BR, conducting a study on BR, or a employee of some firm testing the good folk posting here?

You have been posting hypothetical question since august last year, questions a valid person faceing BR would not normaly ask before going BR, if you are not faceing BR, the time spent answering such could be spent on those that realy need it, before you.
Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all …………. :(

I've mentioned on previous posts that I am facing Bankruptcy.

And have helped others petition for Bankruptcy who found it difficult to ask questions themselves (they don't have access to the internet).

They had lots of questions before Bankruptcy, and lots more afterwards.

The question I asked on this thread wasn't hypothetical, a friend who I helped petition does have an IPA - their income has increased and they weren't sure who to contact.

I am planning my own Bankruptcy, and as I've said on other posts, I need to find another job before I petition, as I will lose my current job as soon as I've made myself Bankrupt.

Maybe with the pressure of debt and the worry and uncertainty about Bankruptcy - I might have become a little OCD about the whole thing - hence all the questions.

I am very anxious to know everything that's involved and to get everything right.

I have always been extremely grateful to everyone who has helped me.

Life to say the least is very difficult, and it is with great thanks to all the people here - who help make it easier.

Sorry, I will not comment further, but I am not convinced, your questions are too varied, for one or two 'friends', more like several clients

I was not aware that you are facing BR script....is your job regulated so that you cannot continue in as a BR?

Maybe you should start your own thread so that we may appreciate the bigger picture...as you no doubt know it is very difficult to offer `one word` answers to questions...far better to understand the whole picture.

    The OR or Moonbeever?

My personal view would be to contact the OR. Ultimately the OR is overseeing the case for the Insolvency Service & will decide the outcome of any IPA amendments.

    @Bat,

By all means have your own view, but I assure you I am just an ordinary employee doing an ordinary job and I don't have any "clients".

I've helped 3 people go through Bankruptcy who were either my friends or friends of friends.

Out of the three - 2 had partners who also petitioned.

So when you take into account 6 individuals including myself - none of us knowing anything about Bankruptcy and all with different and sometimes complicated situations - you end up with lots of varied questions.

And my friends who are now bankrupt and dealing with the OR, Trustees, Moonbeever etc, and need answers that others who are just starting bankruptcy may not ask.

I have noticed that virtuality every question I've asked in the past - has been asked again by new posters.

And when I can it's good to be able to answer them.

But if this or if I have upset or annoyed you - then of course I realise that you may not wish to answer my questions (just ignore them).

    @Angel

My job isn't regulated as such but does have a bankruptcy clause.

And unfortunately my employers will use the clause. Which I do accept.

If I do have more questions - will it be alright to just post them - and try and explain them as best I can?

Questions are fine script....sometimes its hard to give an answer when there`s so little background detail. As you will know there are so many variables in this process that it`s impossible to give `yes or no` answers without seeing the `bigger picture`

I appreciate your explanations & thank you for `opening up` for a change & I think that you have done a good job of helping your friends as you have .

Sorry to hear that your job will be on the line...thats a tough consequence. Have you enquired whether there is a role that you could switch to within your current employer?

Thanks Angel - unfortunately with my present employer there are no other roles.

But to be fair I always knew this.

It's just been so hard to find alternative employment in the recession.

But I'm sending out as many CV's as I can.

It'll be wonderful when I get another job (don't care if it's a shelf stacker at Tesco - I just need to make a living).

And then at last I can petition and get rid of all the worry and stress.
