1. This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over only.
2. The promotion is not open to employees (or members of their families) of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
3. Entry to the competition is made by answering the multiple choice question and submitting your name and a valid email address as requested on the Canderel competition page. Entry to the competition can also be made through closerdiets.co.uk by answering the multiple choice question and entering a valid email address. No purchase necessary. Only one entry will be allowed per person.
4. There will be one winner. The winner will be drawn at random and under independent supervision from the list of entries that selected the correct answer to the competition question. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date and will be asked to supply delivery address details on notification that they have won the prize. Failure to supply delivery details within 7 days of notification will result in the prize becoming forfeited with no alternative offered and a new winner will be drawn.
5. By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.
6. The prize comprises a ‘Two night boutique escape for two’ gift voucher from redletterdays.co.uk, plus £100 spending money which will be supplied as a cheque addressed to the winner. The voucher includes a two night bed and breakfast stay at a UK hotel. The winner can choose from a selection of hotels and locations as specified at the time of booking. Booking restrictions apply at some properties. It’s recommended that booking is made as far in advance as possible to ensure the date of choice (minimum eight weeks recommended). Most hotels exclude the Christmas and New Year period and some can be booked Sunday to Thursday only. Many hotels will ask to see a valid credit card at check in. You may also need to arrange reserved and chargeable parking with the hotel direct.
7. There is no cash alternative to the prize. The prize is non-transferable. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with equivalent value.
8. The closing date for entries will be 18th April 2010.
9. Canderel cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or loss of the prize.
10. The promoter reserves the right to refuse incomplete entries.
11. Images in the promotional material are for illustrative purposes only. The winner may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this promotion.
12. The decision of the promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Information and data ‘personal data’, which is provided by entrants when they enter will be held and used only by the Promoter, their suppliers and contractors in order to administer the competition unless an entrant agrees to receive further marketing information from Canderel. Personal data will not be shared with third parties.
