Where are you sailing from.
Just a few tips,
Buy a little travel kettle, and an adaptor. Tea and coffee are around £2 a cup
on board and a kettle at a tenner will pay for itself on one trip.
Have a meal at home at lunchtime and take some sandwiches or something for tea with you. The food is tremendously expensive on board. Drinks are not too bad really. You will have to have a meal either in Amsterdam or on board coming back but you cant avoid that. Amsterdam is very expensive also.
The boat sails around 9 (you will probably have bunk beds as its a prize) but you can upgrade if you ring up before to a side by side bed. Dont upgrade on board as it about £20 each way, ringing up beforehand is less than half of that.
but if youre quite happy with bunk beds then okay, but the second time we did it we pulled the mattress on to the floor.
The ferries are brilliant, especially the Hull ones, they are a lot bigger than the Newcastle ones so there are lot more facilities on board.
