They probably can't, they lack a certain requirement, Just because your bankrupt doesn't have to mean that your dishonest as well, you would never last a year:DHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Hi .
What tends to happen now is that although the OR doesn't list the initial bankruptcy in the local press anymore, they instead frequently show the announcement of the final dividend to be paid to proven creditors at the winding up of the bankruptcy. The main purpose of this is to give a final opportunity for any unknown creditors to make themselves known if they want a share. Its like the announcement of probate which gives potential beneficiaries the chance to stake a claim from an estate. It protects the administrator (OR or executor in the case of a will) from legal action if anyone comes forward late in the day.
But as to the original postings, I agree that it's a small price to pay for the life enhancing opportunity to wipe out your debts and start again. Personally I couldn't give a monkey's who knows when I have my day in court in April.:):rotfl:0
