Tablecloth and napkin hire?

I'm going for the Holiday Inn deal, but they want to charge us £80-100 to decorate our tables :rotfl:
I'm going to ask them to chuck in the tableclothes and napkins for free, as TBH I think its a cheek to charge for something which is part of their stock, but I doubt they will let us do that, as in their "reasonable" quote for table decs they make a big deal of providing tablecloths!!
What do you think is reasonable?

What do you actually get for the £80-£100??
So we can see more clearly what they're charging for.
How many tables and what on eachWhat matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
Table linen can be quite expensive depending on your table sizes, here is a good link to find out roughly how much they cost to hire (and this is the cheapest I have found)
This link is also good for hiring other bits and pieces you might need like high-chairs or table number holders etc.

When we were looking at the Holiday Inn near us, the table linen was free!
I'd ask them why they are charging when other venues aren't ~ and yes, those venues are the £999 and the £1500 deals too!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
yep table linen is included in our £1000 deal, so tablecloths and napkins, but not decorations. i think its really cheeky if they try to worm out of that as they would never leave the tables bare for anything elsegetting married: 02/10/10

Yes we are the same as bubble96. Table linen is included with ours too. I think if we want to hire different colours then we pay extra but that is because they would probably have to hire them on our behalf anyway. If they are not providing you with white table linen I would definitely question this.:love:Married the man of my dreams on 12/06/100

Thank you, you have been most helpful
She gave me mixed in a bunch of leaflets, one that said for £80 a table we'd get tablecloths, napkins, tealights, place settings, table confetti and a vase with flowers! I can rustle up something classy much cheaper than that.Mummy to
