    :) Hi Laks xx

    [STRIKE]I'd say 1 as it is :

    Judaism 101: Pesach: Passover

    Pesach lasts for seven days (eight days outside of Israel). .... A simple statement that the seder has been completed, with a wish that next year, we may celebrate ... On all other nights, we do not dip even once

    1 extra day outside of Israel, i read that as. xxxx[/STRIKE]

    Im daft as a brush please read the correct answer below xx

    Though the wording of the q is a bit ambiguous as it could be interpreted as 8 days xxxx

    Hmmmm. I think the answer could be 2.
    Pesach or Passover is a 7/8 day period but the Pesach Seder is a family feast held at the start of the Pesach period.
    From the same link that toniq gives it also says "On the first night of Pesach (first two nights for traditional Jews outside Israel), we have a special family meal filled with ritual to remind us of the significance of the holiday. This meal is called a seder"

    From wiki "seder":-
    Jews generally observe one or two seders: in Israel, one seder is observed on the first night of Passover; in the Diaspora communities other than Reform and Reconstructionist, Jews hold a seder also on the second night.
    Answer = 2
