The 1st East Putney Scout hall is a really good venue for kids parties. It's on Oxford Road so is really central. Here's a link to their site - http://www.eastputneyscoutcentre.org/Hall_hire.html
It's very affordable - £30 an hour in winter and £25 an hour in summer.
I think they also run clubs such as drama, dance and a slimming club so if you need a venue for anything like that then it's worth giving them a call.
