Why do I have to pay my GP £13 just to write me a prescription?

The OP requires a specific Malaria tablet (Malarone or Doxycycline) which is not prescribable on an FP10 and so requires a private prescription. As my quote above shows the Doctor is allowed to make a charge.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--
