Greetings all- it`s been a while...:D Trying to catch up with things- can anyone tell me if there`s any secret to winning a koala, please? Are they even worth having??? Hope all well, I see that coupons are still being used, albeit on a somewhat smaller scale- I rarely get one now for anything I actually buy. Have enough difficulty as it is, getting the good folk of T`s & M`s, to accept LV`s! :eek:0

Morning Everyone!
Came across an edition of Wife Swop USA on Sunday where a party loving spendaholic swopped with a coupon clipper!
The USA seems to be awash with coupons - she got her shopping down from $79 to $10! She went to the shop with a binder full of coupons laid out in aisle order.
I spotted a sign in the supermarket that reminded me of something I think Sher said a while ago - "double coupons up to 99c".
However the new wife was "embarassed" that she and her husband had to go into the Pizza shop separately so they could use 2 x $1 coupons. AND you should have seen her face when she saw the basement full of toothpaste, shampoo, pasta sauce etc etc etc!
My kids were amazed that there is someone else like me! :rotfl:0 -
Sainsburys have 4 x 500ml packs of Specled Hen beer for £4 - I found it on the end of an aisle with the Fathers Day gifts. DH loves this beer so it really helped bump up my spend to use £4.50 off £30 AND double nectar points on £40. :beer:0

Morning everyone - has anyone been to GFS Birmingham yesterday - am hoping to go tomorrow or Thursday is it worth it??
Any info would be appreciated,
thanks
The GFS doesn't start until tomorrow (16th). If you go starting on Thurs. the 17th then you can go to the garden or flower show (not sure what they call it, I think garden show though). People reported getting coupons from that too.;) I've decided not to go but anyone who is going, have fun!!!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -

I used to shop like that only I had 2 small file boxes I had all my coupons in and I had them organized by aisle so I could do my shopping faster. I was just thinking the other day about double off coupons! I sure wish the stores would do that here!!!!!Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!0 -
Just been to Tesco's who very kindly gave me 10 bags of Doritos and 10 lots of dips and nearly £15 worth of free shopping in exchange for 10 Doritos coupons:D. No till splits even though it is the first time I have been in months apart from picking up the odd thing from my local express or the Direct desk. Don't care, as long as my next lot of Doritos goes through ok again;)
Thanks BW I hadn't bothered with the Doritos before now:o but as you appear to be able to make £2.98 at T for every two wins atm thought I would check it out and got a moc on both of my first two attempts!!:T At work so can't really dedicate too much time but guess what I'll be doing tonight
Missus is going to be unhappy this weekend as house will be full of Dorito's and Airwick :rotfl:(Mind you the airwick will cost me 1p each as I don't have an Asda near enough!):p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)
