Dunno Bully, it looks like it could be an interesting next couple of weeks..... The new system will do doubt have as many variations and interpretations as there are trouts.:rotfl:I can foresee lots of 'well the till might have accepted it but I ain't' type of 'issues';)
I was always amazed that I could get my T's to accept the Deli wraps one, really poor quality and a barcode starting 50 so even if they typed it in it wasn't going to work, but they always accepted it....
Not only that I am now beginning to wonder what T will do about original manufacturer 'complimentary' type coupons (The sort they send if you complain etc) How will these be handled if they don't send them back? Hmmm......Goes to check kitchen drawer:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Not only that - if the manufacturer has not paid the £500 to be added to Tesco's list - guess who gets shown up at the tills and told we cannot use our coupon
If I have a legitimate moc and the Tesco computer says no, I will politely tell them to remove the item from my bill and I will go and buy it at Sainsburys/Morrisons where they have more intelligent computers.
Tesco might like to think they rule the world, but if this system doesn't work, they'll be shooting themselves in the foot even more. I know my local Tesco is quieter than it used to be - sometimes its almost dead. If they want to drive more custom away, thats their loss and Sainsburys, Morrisons, etc will no doubt thank them.
Its childish I know, but I get pleasure from using all my bags for life from Morrisons, Asda etc in Tesco, just so that they can see I shop elsewhere now. :rotfl:
Judging by the spend and save till spits they have given me this week, I'm sure their computer has already figured that out. :rotfl:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

'There may be trouble ahead'......We'll face the music but doubt we will want to dance !!!0 -
Hi all - back from holiday and I've got 180+ posts to catch up on
.
Hope you've found some new coupons while I've been away. Went to T's earlier today for first time in ages to top up and use a load of points coupons I had from 4 clubcard mailings we got last month. Managed to get 532 points and they gave me 3 till spits - one was for a £10 off a £70 shop. I may use this with the £5 off a £50 shop we got off one of the mailings. They gave us 3 altogether for different dates (a £7 off a £50 and 2 x £5 off a £50's). I won't go again until its valid (14/6). I've always managed to use these together in the past - here's hopin'.
Will catch up with you later when I've had a chance to read through all your ramblings.... looking forward to it :rotfl:
Well, I ventured into T today, as had a bowls match in area, for the first time for 2-3 months to use some mocs. The till didn't like me - did not get even a till spit for 50p off something I never buy!!
The shop was busy, even ignoring the schoolkids who come in from the local comprehensive - about 200 of them everyday who are only allowed to go to a reserved number of tills & watched like hawks by staff. I am really surprised people still shop there as it is the messiest store I know.0 -
