i've been known to womble the odd receipt from the self scan tills, every little helps;)Blue never normally gets any till splits at Sainsburys, probably something to do with the fact that I pay for most of my shopping with coupons and only buy stuff there on offer.
Today I was going past the self scan tills on the way out and noticed a till split hanging out of one, with nobody about so decided may as well do my bit for the enviroment and take it and put in recycle bin if for something I didn't buy:D Anyways, it turned out to be £4.50 off a £30 spend, which I enjoyed using at another Sainsburys:D
So the point of the story is, make sure you go past the self scans on the way out:beer:0 -
Mad does still womble T's receipts. Only to do my bit for recycling

Oh, I'm with ya now.;) You're right though, a lot of times I don't bother printing the specific store coupons as I can usually find whatever it is cheaper elsewhere! I wish all stores had good websites that gave prices for all their products so it would make bargain hunting a bit easier!;) I surprised Morrison's don't have a better website beings it is one of the major supermarkets in Britain. It would help if Co-op, Lidl and Aldi had better websites too. I'm looking forward to Asda taking over Netto as I pass more Netto's in my travels than Asda's. Too bad Netto didn't take coupons, if they had I bet they wouldn't have had to sell all their UK stores.;)
Morrisons website is a waste of space and its SO frustrating that they aren't on mysupermarket. They are really missing a great opportunity with this. If I can't check the price, then I just go with the cheapest price I can find and I'm sure a lot of others do too.
Co-op's website isn't any better and they do have some really good offers - not that you can usually find any of them in stock around here.:mad:
I've not been in a Netto for years and there isn't one near me. Not got Aldi or Lidl near me either unfortunately.
So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try

Morning all

Was mooching around a Vergo department store (ex Co-op) yesterday. They had a sign on the counter;
Please do not upset the staff by asking when this store is closing. They do not know.
Mad asked the obvious question

I'm sure that the Vergo staff appreciated being reminded that they due to lose their jobs in the near future. Many thanks to M.0 -
MM did not ask the question 'quiet advisor' ....that's just a typical MM post ...he's a very sensitive person whom we all love, who tries to raise a wry smile on a dull ,rainy morning!!! That's all !!!quiet_advisor wrote: »I'm sure that the Vergo staff appreciated being reminded that they due to lose their jobs in the near future. Many thanks to M.0 -
