Visited local tesco today,gave cs my £5 lidl voucher and he wouldnt tyake it,i produced a letter i had from terry leahys office dated 22nd april 10 and shown cs and supervisor and they wouldnt take it as they said head ofgfice sent this email which they photocopied for me it read"as part of our competitor coupon policy we review which competitor coupons we accept each time a new one is launched.as part of this review we have decided not to accept the £5 off a £30 spend lidl coupon that was printed in the newspaper today and also tomorrow,please can you ensure all customer assistants are made aware,including multi skilled staff"
i spoke to manager who confirmed this and apologised about the letter i had which clearly stated lidl was a acceptable coupon,anyway the manager as a gesture of goodwill let me choose up to £10 of booze,i chose the 24 cans of boddingtons.as anyone else had lidl vouchers refused today,as this is a email from hq.

thanks for asking this cause i had also wondered. To be safe, i had used different emails for a new coupon each time, to generate a new coupon number. But...daft question alert....are people still using their real names and dob or varying them slightly!!! (wasn't sure if they could trace same name/dob)?:o

hi vaz i'm only getting the 30p voucher too. I have the free one saved on my PC, but i've printed off 3 vouchers already (although only used one so far) They have the same voucher number on all of them and i'm worried about using them now.

They are only £1 in asda at the moment.

I'm just about to recycle some vouchers I won't use unless anyone can find a use for them.
All Asda - Pampers nappies, Pampers wipes, Fairy non-bio gel and Persil.
