I used to shop like this in the States before moving to England so having to bargain shop is 2nd nature to me. When Hubby and I 1st lived together, he couldn't understand why I used to "waste my time cutting out coupons for 10 or 20 cents" (his words) until one day he came home from work the same time I came back from grocery shopping and he saw all the bags of groceries I had that cost me $100 instead of $200. He was so impressed with the $100 savings that he gave me another $100 to go do it again the next day! And I did!!!!;) Mind you, it was a big savings because the store I went to was doing triple off coupons that week (if the coupon was for 50 cents they triple it so it was $1.50 off).

so much more coupons in the US than here. Wish they followed the US style of couponing..........

Gee... thanks. But I will have to wait for BW to pick me up :rotfl:BW will definitely have to pass my house with a few right & left turns exit motorways!! Cos' I don't drive on motorways . Can I have Horlicks please (its £1.50 @ ASDA @ the mo ):D. Would love to have BBQ @ your place - I shall volunteer to marinate the bbq chicken ;)

And me!!! Have you seen how many internet coupons are available for the US? Plus there used to be 2 coupon books in the Sunday papers, not sure if there still are but that was where I got lots of my coupons plus family and friends used to give me the coupons they weren't going to use from their Sunday coupon books. Not to mention all the coupons that were/are available in the newspapers and magazines. The supermarkets used to have a box by the door for people to put coupons in that they weren't going to use for other people to help themselves to (I didn't see any of those in any store last time I went home though). I got out of the habit of couponing when I move here as there weren't many coupons to be found anywhere until I found out I could use them without buying the product and there were more coupons becoming available in the UK. I'm amazed at how I have automatically gone back to my old shopping habits since Black Friday!!;)

Went to tesco to top up my Domestos mountain, only got 10 bottles as running out of room.

luckily the young male SA who served me on Saturday as there so made a beeline for him.

If only all SA's were like him. Pleasant, and friendly, he asked if I had any bargains or reduced stuff. Got a torch reduced to £2 something for my son and he asked where they were as he wouldn't mind one.

Put all my coupons through without complaint and still remained really nice and friendly, didn't hurry me. He still gave me the school vouchers too.

Cost £56 and paid £33 so I was happy with this.

Will keep a look out for him next time.

Sorry to be thick, but I can't work out how to print the Rustlers voucher. When I follow the link I get a PDF file with a new link which gets a page for a free entry voucher to Thorpe Park. Thanks.

Hi Compmad1, Apologise for not replying to you as I thought somebody would have answer your query. If you haven't done so this is how I do it :-

Scroll all the way down till you see Rustlers coupon. using your mouse, when you point it to the left corner of the grey area, your mouse will turned into a (+) plus sign, now left click your mouse, and drag it all the way till the bottom right hand corner.

Next go to "File", click "print", click "current view" (on here you will see only Rustlers coupon), next go to properties & page layout, tick : multi page, click pages per sheet : 2

All the above is based on below link. And the link that you are writing has changed to blank page & it is asking you to click on "rustlers" & to enter their comp & then only the voucher page will show up.

I hope my instruction is easy to follow :o

    Sher,

Can you please to change the 1st page Rustlers to below link as it has changed!

below is the correct one :-

    http://www.rustlersonline.com/thorpe_voucher_2010.pdf

if some of you are unable to click to the direct link (incase it changed again) just click on their website as instructed on the page.

Time to continue issuing cheques now. Tea time is over.
