Asda Eastleigh - 10% off Keycard
Asda Eastleigh is closing for refurbishment on 14 Aug until 5th November. They are inviting customers to take a key card which offers 10% off your shopping during those weeks if you shop in Asda Havant, Southampton. Totton or Fareham. On top of that once a week you can get a sticker when you shop at any one of those branches. If you collect 11 out of 12 stickers you get a £50 George gift card to spend at George between 1st and 30th November only at Asda Eastleigh.
There is no minimum spend either, so potentially you could spend £1 (90p with 10% off) each week and still qualify for the £50 George gift card. The gift card can be used in the new George Home Range opening in Eastleigh too.
As an after thought I don't see anything that could stop customers who shop anyway at Southampton or Fareham, say, from getting a card at Eastleigh and then getting 10% off their shop for 14 weeks and then claiming the gift card.
They were signing people up for them (very rough bit of paper) in the foyer today and over the weekend I expect.

Hayling Island - Gods waiting room (kinda harsh but true)
Yes we still populate hayling island. The average person on hayling is aged at about 70, the age where everything is worth complaining about.
I am 19, so i dont really fit in on hayling island. Theres nothing for youngsters to do, and if you do choose to do something, you have to get off the island paying steep prices to a monopolistic bus company!
On a lighter note, where did you live, how long ago?

Thanks Elljay. Went there today to pick up the card (very easy) and I shall use it at my normal Asda which is Fareham!0

Havant road just after you come onto the island. We had great fun - down the shore, bonfires, bbq and beer. No one ever complained because there was nobody there to. The billy track was always good for a laugh as well!chrislee765 wrote:Hayling Island - Gods waiting room (kinda harsh but true)

Now the're all stuck up snobs who think that kids shouldn't be on the island because it's exclusive to those who can afford it. oh well no great loss in a nice storm and the following flood!30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0 -

Hmm, well I'm not sure I'm impressed with this at all and need to check it out with head office.
Went to use my keycard today and the sales assistant "advised" bme not to use it for my newspaper as I was only allowed to get the discount once a week...
Now nowhere on the card does it actually say you can only get the discount once a week, it just says you can only pick up one sticker a week.
Anyone else started using theirs yet? I'll let you know if I have any difinitive answer from head office (if they even know about it!!)
Also been caught out twice in 2 days with SEL's being under the wrong items! Luckilly I noticed.Good Enough Club member number 27(2) AND I got me a stalkee!

Phoned their "customer care" line yesterday and surprise, surprise, they know little about the promotion. The chap on the phone was very nice though and suggested tat I speak to the store manager about it because it didn't sound right to him that you could only use discount once as it didn't state that in the T&C. Can't be bothereds to go in at the moment but might speak to manager whe I don.

HI all!
ASDA have currently been set up a smaller store in the old store warehouse at Eastleigh (same location as old store) for 'weekly essentials'. Does the keycard qualify 10% discount there?0
