I`ve been waiting now for nearly six weeks for my job seekers allowance to be processed. When I call they say that they are behind in processing the applications. Anyone else had the same problem? I wonder if they are doing it deliberately and why?

I don't think its deliberate - there are a lot of people applying - including single parents coming off IS and onto JSA. My Nephews took 7 weeks and he had to get crisis loans to get by.0

Of course it is not deliberate, why would they do that? There are long backlogs at the moment, no doubt you will hear something soon.Gone ... or have I?0
