It depends on the costs and how they are funded. Do you claim DLA for your son?? If so, then this is a justifiable expense (but you wouldn't include his in the SOA nor the DLA).
Also, the cost of the contracts. If they are a lot then you would be lucky to get to keep them all, but if you have cheap £10 a month type ones, then x 4 isn't too bad.
There are some very good PAYG deals and Vodafone do a friends/family thing where for £5 a month all calls between the 4 phones are free (credit or not). There are alternatives if neccessary and just look at what is cost effective for you.0 -
As far as I'm aware as long as you are paying them and can continue to do so using your surplus then you can keep them. Remember though that if they are all in one name add up how much the line rental will be for 12 months. If over £500 then you'll have to let the network providers know that you are BR.
PAYG have some great deals at the moment. I went from £35 a month on contract to £10 a month on PAYG and am actually getting more for my money.0 -
Oh, sorry beaten to it

I agree with the better deals; I now pay £9 a month on Tesco PAYG by direct debit top-up, get a total of £30 a month to spend on what I like - have taken up their £2 a week for internet access so I can do everything on my £35 a month deal with Vodafone for £9 a month, and have a few pounds left over each month on it.0

Nothing has happened to mine, still got it, and I am also on contract0

Ditto.....i'm on PAYG with blackberry access as well & paying £15 a month credit instead of the ridiculous £35 + a month on contractWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Thanks everyone!
TDMum, i never thought of cost, if it would be over£500!! 3 contracts £25 a month and the last one is £15 a month. We are happy to go onto PAYG but what happens the money owed on rest of contracts? Does it go into BR?0 -
Hello Alice, Yes it does x"If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride"
