Default Notice from o2

I have recently request a Subject access request from O2 (template courtesy of this site, the long version!) requesting every bit of information possible and they duly sent me what they had in a format i struggle to understand.
I then sent them a further email asking them for a CLEAR breakdown of how they got to the figure they say i owe and also a copy of the default notice that yjey should have sent originally.
They replied with the following :
You should have received a copy of the ledger history with the information we sent you. You should also receive copies of your mobile invoice for the duration of your account.
With regards to your question concerning a copy of the original default notice, O2 do not offer deferred payment terms, as a mobile phone contract is not a fixed term loan, or fixed sum credit, but an ongoing contract.
Therefore requests under s.78(1) Consumer Credit Act 1974 (s.77(1) for fixed sum credit) – for a “true copy of the alleged agreement” and a “signed true and certified copy of the original default notice” do not apply.
I dont know if it is worth noting but i never actually quoted the consumer credit act. How is it possible to get the information i require?? Any help gratefully recieved
