Utilities bill

Hiya

I declared myself BR a week ago anyway I received a gas/electric bill for our old address for nearly £600. I expected a bill but not this high. Can I include it in my BR or is it to late now?

I'm interested in this as well, my DP is going BR but hasn't gone to court yet we are moving into a new rental place this week I'm worried we won't be able to afford our final gas/electric bill. It's in his name only and I was planning to put the new one in my name, I have paid the bills before on my card even though they are in his name. Can we include this in his Br and if we do will it have any effect on our new place? I don't want any problems in the new place such them insisting on payment meter (if thats what they are called!) I think the new place is with a different company.

hi i didnot include my gas and elec on my forms but or told them we were bankrupt so british gas have sent me a letter saying old bills are cleared and they have given me a new account number for both but yo should phone them with a meter reading so you know they have cleared it all
