  • Me too - I clicked on it from your name, and it mimiced my antivirus software and downloaded some other antivirus software which you cannot remove from the computer. Hubby had to wipe it and start again to get rid of it!!

Me too :o but I don't know how to get rid of it? It is mimicking my antivirus and saying 'Suspicious behaviour HIPS/RegMod-014 has been detected' but it just keeps staying up on the right of my screen. I have tried closing down and logging back on but its still there, any ideas how I can resolve it?

Just a bit of advice wanted, when you've got a minute if that's okay? I'm attempting to gain some control over eating and would love some tips. Wrote a long entry on my diary about it! Thanks muchly, you've done amazingly well so far and I need to do something about it.

I really don't know about the site - I have rechecked and it still takes me through ok! I will take off the link for the mo.....hope there are no lasting problems with any of your pcs. I am afraid I am no help because it looks ok from here and the link works. Bizarre!

You need to restore windows back to a point before you accessed the site according to my husband - that is how he did mine. Go to Accessories, then into system tools - find system restore and select a date before you accessed the site. Clear as mud to me, but it works - HTH - lilo

  • Hypno the link works for me too, seemingly takes me through to the site no problems but then I realised I have this 'extra' anti virus that will not go away? I'm sure I will get it sorted though without much hassle so don't worry.

Lilo thanks so much for taking the time to help x

Re the virus - might be worth having your web host look at it - but then it could just be that it hooked itself into your link rather than the site itself.

I'm sure there are lots of techie people on the other forums on here who can help.
