Yes CCCS are paid or sponsered by the finicial industryThey do try to get intrest frozen, but it depends on the creditor, some do some don't
My guess is it depends on amount you you are paying if it covers intrest repayments its a 50/50 call

2. My creditors tried, all you have to do is supply them with your CCCS ref number and told them to contact that and hang up
3 How longs a piece of string?? usually within 2 -3 months- with me it was less than 2 months I did what I posted in point 2
4 I'm sure I've seen posts that people have been to court and the judge bollocked the creditor for wasting the courts time as the person was on a DMP with a debt charity

I started DMP with CCCS on 1 Dec 2009 and have nothing but praise for them. I had 19 creditors and a huge debt. All have reduced or frozen interest apart from EGG and BOS.
It was the best thing I ever did
